XENON STROBOSCOPE
The stroboscope facilitates the analysis of the Kinematic characteristics of motion, particularly periodic motion. The basic principle is the emission by a light souce of constant duration flashes at a continuously variable freqency.

The basic principle is the emission by a light source of costant duration flashes at a continuously variable freqency. The electronic stroboscope enables a camera to record the development of the motion to record the development of the motion of a body over time; the photograph will show a sequence of stationary images of  the body at stationary images of the body at constat time intervals. The stroboscpe may be used for photographing the track ( cat.4132.00) and for observation of experiments performed with the apparatus for the study of kinematics and dynamics of rotation (cat.4138.00 etc).

FLASH RATE METER

This instrument has been designed especially to permit the measurement with good precision of the working frequency of the Icaro Didattica ripple tank which has a built in stroboscope ( see cat. 4311.00). The adoption of an optical sensor, supplied with the unit, also permits its use in the measurement of the frequency of fleshes from implusive light sources (Xenon stroboscope, etc ) and with suitable adapters and practical set-ups, of a number of periodic phenomena.
