COLLECTIONS OF PHYSICS FOR PRACTICES OF THE STUDENTS

L‘Teaching of science is gaining in importance as technological development continues to increase. And obviously the particular emphasis is not as such given to the actual contents of the various disciplines, but to the method by means of which these contents have been acquired and in virtue of which they are open to modification. Since the teaching of science becomes the training grounds for the student's capacity for oservation and analysis and is critical spirit, it is necessary that what is described in the textbooks has its correspondence in the recognition of the reality which operates in his surroundings. for this reason, analog with examples deduced from everyday life, the student must be presented with tangible exemplification adhering to the principles and laws under study. This is important above all in the teaching of physics which is often considered difficult because of its abstractness, and where experimentation, also on the part of the students, takes on a fundamental aspect.

A PROBLEM OF STRUCTURES

This approach to teaching required some basics which are not always verified, for example, the availability of a functioning and well-equipped laboratory. Such a laboratory required a significant outlay in terms of finances and time and energy for the preparation and control of materiale, and a great deal of committment during the teaching year to prepare and control student work.

A PROPOSED SOLUTION

Being fully aware of these knds of problems, Icaro Didattica propose the PHYSICS SETS, a collection of materials, instructions, and containers designd for the teaching of physics, and offering: 

1.       robust materials suitable for student use and with a versatility permitting the performance of a large number of different types of experiments;

2.       complee instruction manuals which describe the individual experiments instead of being lemited only to assembly instructions, and including outlines of relevant theory, hints for the performance of experiments, and examples of results;

3.       cupboard and cases for rational storage of materials.
